PRIVATE DEFENSE STOCKS IN FOCUS AFTER DRDO ANNOUNCEMENT

DRDO is working on a concept called the Development cum Production Partner (DCPP) model, where it will hand over the entire missile production to the private companies. That way, private companies work very closely with DRDO in making all the systems. Since technologies are rapidly evolving, DRDO has consistently encouraged private sector participation as most of the systems being developed today are being manufactured by private players.
