ACME Solar Holdings Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for a 300 MW/1,200 MWh assured peak power supply project under the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) scheme. The agreement involves supplying power at a tariff of ₹6 per unit, according to the company’s exchange disclosure dated October 19, 2026. The project combines renewable energy with storage capabilities to support power supply during periods of high demand and when solar generation is unavailable. Energy storage is becoming increasingly important as India expands its renewable energy capacity and seeks to improve grid reliability. The development strengthens ACME Solar’s presence in the dispatchable renewable energy segment, although the project’s execution schedule, costs and eventual profitability will remain important factors to monitor.
