NALCO reported a strong quarter...
🟢 Revenue: ₹5,302 Cr (+39% YoY) 🟢 PAT: ₹2,002 Cr (+88% YoY) 🟢 EPS: ₹10.90 (vs ₹5.79 last year) The biggest reason was the Aluminium business. Segment profit jumped from ₹898 Cr to ₹2,326 Cr, showing the core business is performing very well. not everything improved though. 🔴 Chemicals business reported lower profit than last year. 🔴Revenue from its wind power plants is still on hold as the PPA issue with the Rajasthan Government remains unresolved. A couple of other updates: ✅ Final dividend of ₹1/share announced. Along with the interim dividends, the total dividend for FY26 stands at ₹11.50/share. ✅ NALCO has partnered with NLC India to set up a 1,080 MW captive thermal power plant in Odisha. This is a long-term expansion plan. Overall, this was a solid quarter. Higher aluminium prices definitely helped, but the core business also delivered strong numbers. The Chemicals segment and the pending PPA issue are the main things I'll be watching going forward.
