Redington Receives ₹148 Cr GST Order, Expects No Material Impact; Q2 Profit Up 32% YoY

Redington Limited has received a GST assessment order of ₹148.33 crore from the CGST Gurugram Commissionerate, which includes interest and penalties. The demand relates to the alleged disallowance of Input Tax Credit (ITC) under Section 74 of the CGST Act for FY 2018–19, 2019–20, and 2021–22. Redington has clarified that it expects no material impact on its financials, operations, or business activities, indicating confidence in its legal and tax position. This development comes even as the company continues to report strong performance, with a 32% YoY rise in net profit to ₹388 crore for the quarter ended September 2025.
