Adani Power – Signed an agreement with Bhutan’s state-owned company to set up a 570 MW hydro power project in Bhutan. Impact: Positive for long term as it adds new growth, but stock reaction may be slow since execution takes time. SpiceJet – Posted a loss of ₹233.8 crore in Q1 compared to profit last year. Revenue also fell 34%. Impact: Negative for stock in short term as weak financials show pressure on business. Jaiprakash Associates (JAL) – Vedanta won the bid to acquire JAL for ₹17,000 crore.
