Ambuja Cements Delivers Robust Q2 FY26 Results | PAT Surges 364% YoY to ₹2,302 Cr
Ambuja Cements Limited, part of the Adani Group, reported a **stellar Q2 FY26 performance**, with **Profit After Tax (PAT) rising 364% YoY** to **₹2,302 crore**, supported by higher volumes, cost efficiency, and operational gains. Revenue stood at **₹9,174 crore**, up **21% YoY**, marking the **highest-ever Q2 sales** in the company’s history.
The cement major achieved a record **16.6 million tonnes** sales volume (up **20% YoY**) and maintained an **EBITDA margin of 19.2%**, with **EBITDA per tonne at ₹1,060**, up **32% YoY**. EPS rose sharply to ₹7.2, a 267% increase over last year.
Ambuja expanded its **FY28 capacity target to 155 MTPA** (from 140 MTPA earlier), backed by **low-cost debottlenecking (USD 48/MT)** and multiple ongoing projects. Renewable energy capacity reached **673 MW**, on track to hit **900 MW by year-end**.
The company remains **debt-free**, with a net worth of **₹69,493 crore**, and continues to hold the **CRISIL AAA (Stable)** rating. Management expects **double-digit revenue growth and four-digit EBITDA per tonne** in the coming quarters, supported by **GST rate cuts, carbon credit reforms**, and strong domestic demand.
