L&T Delivers Landmark Q3 FY26 with Record Order Inflows and Strong Profit Growth

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a standout performance for Q3 FY26, underlining its execution strength and long-term growth visibility. The company recorded its highest-ever quarterly order inflow of ₹1.36 lakh crore, marking a 17% year-on-year growth, with international orders contributing nearly 49% of the total. Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹71,450 crore, up 10% YoY, driven by steady execution across infrastructure, energy, IT services, and manufacturing businesses. The consolidated order book crossed ₹7.3 lakh crore, providing strong revenue visibility for the coming years. On the profitability front, recurring PAT rose sharply by 31% to ₹4,406 crore, reflecting operational efficiency and scale benefits. Reported PAT came in lower due to a one-time exceptional provision related to new labour codes, which does not impact the company’s core earnings strength. Segment-wise, Infrastructure and Energy projects continued to anchor order inflows, while IT & Technology Services delivered margin expansion. The Financial Services arm also posted healthy growth, supported by higher retail disbursements. Management remains optimistic, citing sustained public capex, improving private investment, and strong international opportunities, particularly in the Middle East. Overall, L&T’s Q3 performance reinforces its position as a high-quality play on India’s infrastructure and industrial growth cycle, with robust execution, diversification, and balance sheet strength.
