Preferred Bidder for Hadda ISTP Project in Saudi Arabia

VA TECH WABAG LIMITED, a global leader in water and wastewater treatment solutions, has been selected as the preferred Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner for the Hadda Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) Project in Saudi Arabia. The project, awarded to a Developer Consortium by the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC), will be developed under a 25-year Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (BOOT) model. The initial treatment capacity of the plant will be 100,000 m³/day, expandable to 250,000 m³/day, and will include advanced treated sewage effluent reuse systems, a large storage tank, and a 38-kilometre transmission pipeline. WABAG, with over a century of expertise in water technology and operations in 25+ countries, is committed to delivering sustainable and innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Further updates on the project will be shared after the concession agreements and financial closure.
