Bank of India has reported 21.60% growth in global deposits to Rs 10,37,618 crore (Provisional) as of September 30, 2026 (Q2FY27) as compared to Rs 8,53,301 crore as of September 30, 2025. Its global gross advances were up by 20.43% to Rs 8,54,045 crore (Provisional) in Q2FY27 as against Rs 7,09,145 crore as of September 30, 2025. Impact : Sustained deposit mobilization generally limits reliance on high-cost wholesale funding, protecting its global Net Interest Margin target of 2.55–2.60%. View : This strong performance reflects heavy momentum across both liability mobilization and credit growth, helping the public sector lender outpace general systemic deposit growth trends.
