Texmaco Rail receives LoA worth Rs 3.65 crore from WCR
Texmaco Rail & Engineering has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 3.65 crore (including taxes) from West Central Railway. The LoA is for Provision of Anti-bird disc for prevention of bird fault. The order is to be executed within 12 months from the date of issue of LoA.
Impact : While this contract is minor, the company boasts a robust order backlog that reached ₹9,923 crore as of June 30, 2026, and recently surged past ₹11,200 crore after major wagon and locomotive wins in September. While global supply chain disruptions have hit Texmaco’s core freight wagon revenue, diversifying into specialized high-voltage rail infrastructure and electrical safety components shields the company from shifting wagon demand.
View : With an annual revenue of ₹4,377 crore (FY26), a ₹3.65 crore contract represents less than 0.1% of Texmaco’s yearly top line. It will not fundamentally alter the company's near-term earnings curves
Disclosure : I do not hold any position in the mentioned stock.
