Bata India reported a consolidated net profit of ₹13.83

Net profit :- Standalone net profit at ₹14 crore, compared with ₹52 crore in the same period last year. Down 73% Quarter on Quarter. (include other income of ₹13 crore)
Sales :- Sales down to ₹801 crore from ₹942 crore last quarter. With operating margins at 18%
Overview :- The margin erosion was led by higher discounts to clear pre-festive inventory, along with increased employee and marketing expenses. Company's working capital requirements have reduced from 28.6 days to 15.6 days
Along with that GST cut benefits will be visible in full fledge from coming quarters so it can be given a benefit of doubt about the decreased margins n profits.
Technicals :- Stock is trading around 2020 corona levels and 1000 is the round level strong support. We can expect a recovery in coming quarter it can be a good option to buy a shoes from bata and add small quantity in portfolio of it.
Also stock is facing resistance from falling trendline so breakout of it can serve as a good upmove.
