Shree Cement Ltd reported an impressive set of numbers for the quarter ended September 2025, showcasing strong growth in profitability and operational efficiency driven by higher volumes, better realizations, and effective cost management. The company’s net profit jumped sharply to ₹277 crore, a nearly threefold rise from ₹93 crore in the same period last year, reflecting a robust recovery in margins and a favorable pricing environment in key markets. Revenue from operations rose 15.5% year-on-year to ₹4,303 crore, compared to ₹3,727 crore in Q2 FY25, supported by steady demand in the infrastructure and housing sectors and an uptick in cement sales volume across regions. The company also benefited from softening input costs and improved plant efficiencies, which significantly enhanced operating performance. EBITDA surged 43.5% YoY to ₹851.8 crore, up from ₹593 crore in the previous year’s quarter, indicating a strong operational rebound. Correspondingly, EBITDA margins expanded to 19.8%, compared to 15.9% last year, highlighting Shree Cement’s continued focus on cost optimization, fuel efficiency, and product mix improvement. The strong quarterly results underscore the company’s strategic execution, including its emphasis on sustainability, premiumization, and expanding its presence in high-growth markets. The announcement of an interim dividend of ₹80 per share further reflects management’s confidence in its balance sheet strength and commitment to rewarding shareholders. Backed by rising infrastructure spending, urbanization trends, and ongoing capacity expansions, Shree Cement is well-positioned to sustain its growth trajectory in the coming quarters. Overall, Q2 FY26 marks a significant improvement in performance, with strong revenue momentum, margin expansion, and robust profitability, reaffirming the company’s position as one of India’s most efficient and resilient cement manufacturers.
