Tata Inv Corp Soars 10% on Nifty Midcap 150; Announces Stock Split, Strong Q1 Earnings
Tata Investment Corporation (Tata Inv Corp) shares surged 10.29% to Rs 8,975.50 on Wednesday, topping the Nifty Midcap 150 gainers list. Other notable movers included Indian Bank, Jubilant Foodworks, Deepak Nitrite, and Nippon Life India. The rally came after the company announced a sub-division of equity shares, with the record date set as September 22, 2025. Letters have also been dispatched to physical shareholders regarding the corporate action. On the financial front, Tata Inv Corp reported Q1 FY26 revenue of Rs 145.46 crore, up from Rs 142.46 crore in Q1 FY25. Net profit also rose to Rs 112.40 crore compared to Rs 106.78 crore a year earlier, with EPS improving to 28.92. For FY25, however, revenues dipped to Rs 305.08 crore from Rs 383.12 crore in FY24, while net profit declined to Rs 209.14 crore from Rs 320.32 crore the previous year. Despite this, the company declared a final dividend of Rs 27 per share (270%), effective June 10, 2025. Analysts at Moneycontrol maintain a very bullish outlook on Tata Inv Corp, supported by its strong balance sheet, zero debt, and consistent dividend payouts.
