Granules India receives ₹1,093 crore for warrant conversion

Granules India Limited (

GRANULES
) has received ₹1,093 crore from its promoter group as the final 75% subscription amount for 2.49 crore convertible warrants. The payment makes 2,49,14,530 warrants fully paid and eligible for conversion into equity shares. The company has also subsequently allotted approximately 2.50 crore equity shares following warrant conversion, raising approximately ₹1,461.5 crore. The company said the promoter funding leaves it in a consolidated net cash surplus position. Q1 FY27 revenue was ₹1,476.77 crore, up about 22% YoY. Your view This is primarily a balance-sheet story. The ₹1,093 crore inflow materially changes the company's funding position, but investors also need to account for the additional equity shares created through warrant conversion. The next numbers I would track are net cash, debt reduction, capital allocation and whether the fresh capital supports higher-margin complex products. Dilution from the new shares should also remain part of the analysis. Disclosure: I do not hold any position or have any interest in Granules India Limited as of the time of posting.
