Persistent gains control of Nagarro with 83.25% stake
Persistent Systems Limited (
PERSISTENT
) has secured 83.25% of the outstanding share capital and voting rights of Germany-based Nagarro SE through its takeover offer.
The stake includes 61.15% acquired through the public offer and an existing 22.10% holding. An additional acceptance period runs from September 23 to October 6, 2026, at the same offer price of €81 per Nagarro share.
Your view
This is now more than an acquisition announcement. Persistent has crossed the minimum acceptance threshold and has control of Nagarro.
The next trigger is the additional acceptance period and the eventual integration of Nagarro into Persistent's operations.
Persistent has also indicated an intention to pursue Nagarro's delisting, subject to applicable legal requirements. I would watch the final ownership percentage, transaction completion and the financial impact of integration.
Disclosure: I do not hold any position or have any interest in Persistent Systems Limited as of the time of posting.
