Weather Woes Hit Beverage Demand in June Quarter

Early onset of monsoon and unseasonal rainfall across key regions in India impacted beverage sales in Q1 FY26, especially during the peak summer season. Bottom Line: Despite early optimism, weather disruptions and inflationary rural stress led to muted growth for both global and domestic beverage players in Q1. Going forward, inventory recalibration and regional market strategies may be necessary.
