Groww’s parent reported a Q2 FY27 profit up 54 percent year on year and down 1.4 percent on Q1, according to a StockGro headline dated 15 October. The Q1 FY27 profit was Rs 735 crore, up 94 percent. The Q2 figure is the first read on whether that jump holds.
Q1 and Q2 FY27 (consolidated):
Q1 FY27 net profit: Rs 735 crore, up 94 percent YoY
Q2 FY27 net profit: about Rs 725 crore, up 54 percent YoY
Q1 FY27 revenue: Rs 1,501 crore, up 66 percent YoY
Q2 FY27 profit down 1.4 percent on Q1

][***** trades at Rs 197.14 at 2:00 PM IST today on StockGro, up 3.3 percent from Rs 190.88. A second quote of Rs 195.70 is undated, so I use the timed print. The 52-week range is Rs 112 to Rs 224. At 45.6 times trailing earnings against a sector P/E of 19.5, the price already assumes more growth than the quarter shows.
My view: hold for holders, not a fresh entry. Profit is up on a year ago but down on the July quarter, so the trend has slowed after the 94 percent jump. Fresh money waits for the filed Q2 figures and a close back at or below Rs 190.88. Without both, no fresh money.
My exit is a close below Rs 190.88, the 14 October close.
