NCL Industries reports 22% growth in cement production in Q2

NCLIND
NCL Industries reported 22% growth in cement production to 7,81,056 MT in Q2FY27 from 6,40,435 MT a year earlier. Cement dispatches also rose 22% to 7,79,428 MT from 6,39,528 MT. Cement board production increased 22% to 13,071 MT from 10,673 MT, but dispatches fell 3% to 13,953 MT from 14,346 MT. RMC production and sales declined 10% to 59,882 CuM from 66,185 CuM, while hydro power generation dropped 43% to 9.22 MU from 16.14 MU. The company makes cement, RMC, CBPB and doors, and runs two small hydro projects. The core cement business is delivering strong volume growth, with dispatches tracking production closely, which suggests healthy demand and no inventory build-up. Weakness in RMC, board dispatches and hydro power is a drag, but these are smaller segments and unlikely to offset cement’s contribution. Margins will depend on realisations and fuel and power costs.
