ACME Solar secures ₹2,647 crore funding from REC for 450 MW peak power project

ACME Solar Holdings has secured ₹2,646.64 crore in long-term project financing from REC for its 450 MW/1,800 MWh Assured Peak Power Project. REC will act as the sole lender for the project over a 20-year tenure, with the funds earmarked for its development and construction. The project has a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN at a tariff of ₹6.74 per unit. The project integrates solar power with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), enabling reliable and dispatchable renewable energy supply while improving power predictability. The funding strengthens ACME Solar's execution pipeline and supports India's transition toward round-the-clock clean energy infrastructure.
