Waaree Secures 2.5 MW Green Hydrogen Deal

Waaree Energies' subsidiary, Waaree Clean Energy Solutions, has signed a 2.5 MW Electrolyzer-as-a-Service (EAAS) agreement with Zero Footprint Industries (ZFI) for green hydrogen production in Uttar Pradesh, along with a strategic MoU to supply 50 MW electrolyzers for decentralized projects across North India. Under the 15-year contract, Waaree will design, manufacture (at its Gujarat plant), install, own and operate the alkaline electrolyzer, supplying ~41 lakh Nm³ of green hydrogen annually to industries like mentha oil, chemicals, steel, and pharma—supporting their shift from grey to green hydrogen and boosting India’s net-zero push.
