Bharat Electronics Bags ₹730 Crore Defence Order 🚀🛡️ Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) is in focus after securing fresh defence orders worth approximately ₹730 crore. The contracts cover a range of defence-related systems, including radar, avionics and communication equipment, reinforcing BEL's position as one of India's major defence-electronics companies. The order is significant because India's defence sector continues to move toward greater domestic manufacturing. The government has been encouraging defence procurement from Indian companies, while the armed forces are increasingly looking for locally developed and manufactured systems. BEL has been one of the major beneficiaries of this trend. The company supplies electronic systems to the Indian armed forces and has a diversified order book covering radars, electronic warfare systems, communications, avionics and other specialised equipment. According to reports, BEL's order book stood at around ₹73,900 crore at the end of the June quarter. The latest ₹730 crore order therefore adds further visibility to an already substantial pipeline.
