Aarti Industries tests a major long-term channel hurdle

Aarti Industries is approaching a decisive long-term resistance area after recovering to the chart’s displayed ₹479 level. The larger structure is defined by a descending channel from the 2022 peak, while a broad support base has held around ₹330–₹345. Price has recovered strongly from that base, but it is now pressing into the falling upper boundary rather than breaking clear of it.

AARTIIND
Ichimoku levels are tightly clustered around the market: the conversion line is near ₹483.83, the base line around ₹485.63, and the cloud spans roughly ₹484.73–₹505.53. This creates an immediate barrier at ₹484–₹505. A sustained close above that band, along with a break of the channel line, would be meaningful because it would shift the chart from a recovery inside a downtrend to a potential long-term trend repair. The current ₹475–₹480 zone is the first support during any pullback. Below it, ₹450 and then ₹425 become relevant; a much deeper decline would bring the ₹345 base back into focus. Aarti Industries is sensitive to chemical-cycle demand, product pricing and margin conditions, so a convincing technical breakout needs to be supported by follow-through rather than a single spike. The chart is at an inflection point: above ₹505, the recovery gains credibility; failure near the cloud can keep the stock inside its multi-year descending structure.

Aarti Industries secures Rs 1500cr manufacturing agreement

AARTIIND
Aarti Industries has signed a 10+ year dedicated manufacturing and supply agreement with a leading global speciality chemical company, with cumulative revenue potential of about Rs 1,500 crore ($150 million). The deal brings in a new customer and supports its growing needs in India. Aarti will set up and operate a dedicated Indian facility for a high-performance speciality chemical, using the customer’s proprietary process technology. Capex of under $25 million will be financed through a structured arrangement. Commercial operations are expected in FY2028-29, subject to approvals. The deal strengthens supply-chain resilience, widens Aarti’s global customer base, and builds a platform for a deeper long-term relationship. Aarti Industries signs ₹1,500 crore manufacturing deal

Aarti Industries Limited

AARTIIND
has signed a long-term manufacturing agreement worth approximately ₹1,500 crore with a global chemical company, according to a report published on 13 October 2026. The agreement is expected to run for more than 10 years. The deal adds to Aarti Industries’ speciality-chemicals business and provides potential revenue visibility over an extended period. Long-term manufacturing arrangements can help support capacity planning and customer relationships, although actual revenue will depend on production schedules and contractual terms. The headline value is spread across multiple years, so it should not be treated as immediate revenue. Margins, raw-material costs, capacity utilisation and the timing of customer demand will determine the financial contribution. What I’m watching: Further company disclosures on the product category, production commencement, capacity requirements and revenue recognition. Stance: Tracking execution details and the eventual contribution to the speciality-chemicals business. Disclosure: This post is for educational purposes only and is not investment advice or a buy/sell recommendation. Disclose any holding or interest before publishing.

AARTIIND: Signs 10+ Year Supply Agreement

AARTIIND: Signs 10+ Year Supply Agreement Worth Over ₹1,500 Cr

AARTIIND
Aarti Industries has entered into a 10+ year dedicated manufacturing and supply agreement with a leading global speciality chemical company, marking a new customer relationship. The contract carries an estimated revenue potential of ~₹1,500 crore (~US$150 million) over the tenure. AIL will set up, commission and operate a dedicated manufacturing facility in India for a speciality chemical used in high-performance applications. The facility will use the customer's proprietary process technology, while a structured financing arrangement will fund capex of less than US$25 million. Commercial production is expected to begin in FY2028-29, subject to regulatory and other approvals. The agreement supports localisation of manufacturing in India, strengthening supply-chain resilience and supporting the customer's growing India requirements. Impact: Positive — The agreement provides long-term revenue visibility, adds a new global customer, and offers a relatively capital-efficient dedicated manufacturing opportunity. The key near-term limitation is that meaningful revenue contribution starts only from FY2028-29.

Aarti Industries expands capacity as realisations rise

Aarti Industries [

AARTIIND
] sees better realisations and higher fuel additive volumes, driven by Middle East pricing tailwinds and a wider product mix. The stock trades at a current price of Rs 478. The company recently expanded its fuel additives capacity from 290 tonnes to 360 tonnes and commissioned Phase I of its Zone IV project at Jhagadia. This integration supports new specialized chemicals like Calcium Chloride and PEDA. Meanwhile, the suspension of export tax rebates in China has eased competitive dumping pressures, allowing Indian players to capture stronger export demand in the US and ***** higher oil derivative spreads aid short-term numbers, investors should look past the immediate margin bump. The core investment thesis relies on asset turn recovery. Asset turns dropped to 0.96x post-pandemic from 1.36x during 2015 to 2019. New capacity additions are projected to contribute an incremental Rs 300 to 450 crore to EBITDA over the medium term. Furthermore, management targets a capital expenditure outlay of Rs 700 to 800 crore for FY27, after which overall capex intensity is expected to taper off. Key risks involve execution delays in ramping up new asset platforms and elevated leverage. Net debt to EBITDA sits at 3.65x, though management aims to bring this below 2.5x by FY28. At 12.6x EV/EBITDA for FY28e, valuation sits at a sector discount. Watch for the leverage reduction trajectory and asset turn acceleration. Maintain a tactical positive view with focus on sustained mid-teens return ratios over the next two to three years.

AARTI industries - Capacity utilization helping stock rise

AARTIIND
Aarti Industries appears to be in the early stages of a meaningful recovery after a prolonged downtrend. The long-term chart shows a clear base formation around ₹350–400, followed by a sustained sequence of higher lows and higher highs, indicating that the broader trend is gradually improving. Price has now moved above the Ichimoku cloud and is holding around ₹525, while the cloud structure is turning supportive. The immediate hurdle is ₹530–535, and a decisive breakout above this zone can open the way towards ₹585–600, followed by ₹650. On the downside, ₹510–500 is the key support area and holding above this zone would keep the recovery structure intact. Fundamentally, the improvement is becoming more visible as well: Q1 FY27 revenue rose 42% YoY to ₹2,627 crore, EBITDA increased 79% YoY to ₹385 crore and PAT jumped 260% to ₹155 crore. The company is also seeing better capacity utilisation, progress on Zone IV and chlorotoluene projects, and improving contribution from higher-value speciality chemicals. With the speciality-chemicals cycle showing signs of gradual recovery, Aarti Industries looks positioned for further rerating if earnings momentum sustains. Overall, the technical and fundamental picture is improving, and a sustained move above ₹535 would strengthen the case that the long-term recovery is gaining traction
