Shares of commercial vehicle maker $ASHOKLEY advanced 2.15% to Rs 175.35 on Monday after the company reported steady earnings growth for the quarter ended June. The Chennai-headquartered automaker posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 668 crore in Q1, marking a 2% increase from Rs 658 crore reported in the same period last year. Revenue from operations climbed 10% year-on-year to Rs 10,750 crore, driven by healthy demand across key business segments. The company also delivered its highest-ever standalone quarterly profit of Rs 609 crore, highlighting resilience in its core commercial vehicle operations. On the operational front, EBITDA margin eased to 10.1% from 11.1% a year ago, impacted by elevated raw material and input costs. Even as margins came under pressure, investors cheered the revenue growth and record standalone performance, helping the stock trade higher during Monday's session.
