HDFC Mutual Fund acquired a 3.19% stake in Entero Healthcare Solutions from Prasid Uno Family Trust through open-market transactions on September 18, even as shares of the healthcare products distribution company gained 3.94% to close at ₹1,732.30 on the NSE. According to block deal data, HDFC Mutual Fund purchased 13.9 lakh shares of Entero Healthcare Solutions, representing 3.19% of the company’s paid-up equity, for ₹235.6 crore. The shares were bought at ₹1,695 apiece.
Public shareholder Surbhi Singh, through Prasid Uno Family Trust, was the seller in the transaction. The trust serves as the family investment vehicle of Medlife co-founder Tushar Kumar. Following Friday’s transaction, the trust has sold 32.18 lakh shares, or a 7.39% stake, in Entero Healthcare Solutions during the September quarter. This compares with its 10.45% holding, equivalent to 45.5 lakh shares, as of June 2026.
Meanwhile, Boston-based State Street Global Advisors, through the SPDR Portfolio Emerging Markets ETF, sold 37.32 lakh shares, representing a 0.97% stake, in pharmaceutical company Sigachi Industries for ₹11.13 crore. The shares were sold at ₹29.83 apiece. Sigachi Industries ended 0.92% higher at ₹29.60 on Friday after retreating sharply from an intraday high of ₹32.15, with robust trading volumes recorded during the session.#StockInNews
