us Lifesciences and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals delivered the strongest value growth among companies tracked by Nomura in August 2026, according to the brokerage’s September 8 note.
The broader India pharmaceuticals market (IPM) expanded 10.7% year-on-year, supported by price hikes of 6.1%, new product launches contributing 3.5%, and modest volume growth of 1.1%. Nomura noted that after subdued years in 2024 and 2025, IPM growth has recovered to double-digit levels in 2026, helped by a low base, rising contribution from GLP-1 therapies, stronger demand in chronic segments such as cardiac and oncology, and solid traction in vitamins, minerals and nutrients (VMNs) as well as gynaecology.
On a moving annual total (MAT) basis through August, Glenmark led with 14.9% year-on-year growth, followed closely by Torrent Pharma at 14.8% and Zydus at 14.1%.#WatchOutFor#StockInNews
