RVNL Secures ₹358.97 Crore Railway EPC Contract to Strengthen Network Capacity

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth ₹358.97 crore, including 18% GST, from East Central Railway for a railway infrastructure project under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model. The project involves doubling the railway line on the 41.04 km stretch between Kundawa Chainpur (excluding) and Raxaul (excluding) in the Samastipur Division. The scope of work includes earthwork, blanketing, construction of minor and major bridges, station and building infrastructure, platform development, level crossing works and other associated activities designed for 25T Indian Railway Standard Loading. The project is scheduled to be completed within 1,095 days and has been awarded in the normal course of business, with no related-party involvement or promoter interest in the awarding entity. Earlier this year, RVNL also emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a ₹129.46 crore project from North Eastern Railway to design, supply, erect, test and commission traction substations and associated switching posts for a 2x25 KV AT traction feeding system in the Varanasi–Prayagraj section, aimed at enhancing electric traction power infrastructure. These order wins reflect RVNL's continued participation in expanding India's railway capacity and modernising transportation infrastructure. $RVNL Disclaimer: This post is for informational purposes only and not a recommendation to buy or sell any securities.
