OIL AND NATURAL GAS CORPORATION LIMITED - Quarterly Result Update Q4'25

$ONGC Net sales (including other operating income) of Oil & Natural Gas Corpn has declined 0.77% to Rs 170811.73 crore. Sales of Offshore segment has gone up 3.73% to Rs 24,782.70 crore (accounting for 12.98% of total sales). Sales of Onshore segment has gone down 5.16% to Rs 10,116.97 crore (accounting for 5.30% of total sales). Sales of Refining & Marketing segment fell 3.14% to Rs 146,157.96 crore (accounting for 76.57% of total sales). Sales of Outside India segment has gone up 193.26% to Rs 6,090.83 crore (accounting for 3.19% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 20,797.63 crore to Rs 20,122.67 crore. Crude oil production fell 2% in Q4FY25 to 5.259 MMT compared to Q4FY24. This includes 4.7 MMT from domestic operations, 0.3 MMT from JV and 0.259 MMT from Condensate. ONGC gas production fell 2% to 5.013 BCM in Q4FY`25. This includes 4.893 BCM from domestic operations and 0.12 BCM from JVs. Crude oil realization (Nominated) fell 4.8% to Rs 6385 per barrel in Q4FY25 compared to Q4FY24. Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 7.62% to Rs 14,458.07 crore. PBIT of Offshore segment fell 29.71% to Rs 7,685.21 crore (accounting for 53.16% of total PBIT). PBIT of Onshore segment rose 181.81% to Rs 1,583.17 crore (accounting for 10.95% of total PBIT). PBIT of Refining & Marketing segment rose 0.54% to Rs 5,207.41 crore (accounting for 36.02% of total PBIT). PBIT of Outside India reported profit of Rs 549.97 crore compared to loss of Rs 1,023.55 crore. PBIT margin of Offshore segment fell from 45.76% to 31.01%. PBIT margin of Onshore segment rose from 5.27% to 15.65%. PBIT margin of Refining & Marketing segment rose from 3.43% to 3.56%. PBIT margin of Outside India segment rose from negative 49.28% to 9.03%. Overall PBIT margin fell from 8.35% to 7.57%. Operating profit margin has declined from 13.49% to 12.93%, leading to 4.90% decline in operating profit to Rs 22,084.58 crore.
