$SUNPHARMA Sun Pharma Q4 Results: Profit misses estimate, revenue up 8% YoY; ₹5.50 dividend announced. Net sales (including other operating income) of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries has increased 8.14% to Rs 12958.84 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 25.33% to 28.68%, leading to 22.44% rise in operating profit to Rs 3,716.09 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 13.67% to 13.97%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 8.02% to 7.85%. Employee cost increased from 18.75% to 18.85%. Other expenses fell from 34.81% to 31.18%. Loss on forex transaction rose from 0.46% to 2.21%. Other income rose 1.14% to Rs 612.87 crore. PBIDT rose 18.89% to Rs 4328.96 crore. Provision for interest fell 33.21% to Rs 49.14 crore. Loan funds declined from Rs 3,273.67 crore as of 31 March 2024 to Rs 2,362.19 crore as of 31 March 2025. Inventories rose to Rs 10,243.33 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 9,868.29 crore as of 31 March 2024. Sundry debtors were higher at Rs 13,046.11 crore as of 31 March 2025 compared to Rs 11,249.37 crore as of 31 March 2024. Cash and bank balance rose to Rs 11,331.62 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 10,520.68 crore as of 31 March 2024. Investments rose to Rs 18,353.80 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 15,025.77 crore as of 31 March 2024. PBDT rose 19.97% to Rs 4279.82 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 2.07% to Rs 663.79 crore. Fixed assets increased to Rs 20,290.82 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 20,033.04 crore as of 31 March 2024. Intangible assets increased from Rs 8,568.99 crore to Rs 8,939.42 crore. Profit before tax grew 23.96% to Rs 3,616.03 crore. Share of Profit/loss was 14.52% higher at Rs -6.71 crore. Extraordinary items were decreased to Rs -361.68 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 1093.71 crore, compared to Rs 148.93 crore. Effective tax rate was 33.68% compared to 5.30%. Minority interest decreased 2.64% to Rs 4.05 crore.
