Jubilant FoodWorks grows Q2 revenue 11.9%
Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (NSE: JUBLFOOD) reported consolidated Q2 revenue of ₹2,608.7 crore, up 11.9% year on year. The company added 108 stores during the quarter, taking its total network to 3,820 stores. Moneycontrol
The headline revenue growth is positive, but Domino’s India like-for-like growth was 4.1%, which gives a more useful measure of performance from existing stores. The gap between network expansion and same-store growth will be important for assessing how much of the reported growth is coming from new outlets.
My view is that store additions can support future revenue, but sustained same-store growth is necessary for stronger operating leverage. The next quarters should show whether demand improves enough to support both revenue growth and margins.
I will watch Domino’s India like-for-like growth and the performance of newly added stores in the next quarterly update.
Stance: Same-store growth is the key operating indicator to monitor alongside network expansion.
