TCS starts Q2 earnings season with growth focus

Tata Consultancy Services Limited (NSE: TCS) is set to announce its September-quarter results on October 8, starting India’s Q2 FY27 earnings season. Analysts expect around 1% quarter-on-quarter revenue growth. NDTV Profit The key issue is whether TCS can maintain growth while global clients remain cautious on technology spending. AI-related pricing pressure is also changing the economics of traditional IT services, making deal quality and margins more important than headline revenue growth. Reuters My view is that the market will focus less on one-quarter revenue growth and more on management commentary around demand, large deals and the impact of AI on pricing. A weak outlook could keep pressure on the stock even if the reported numbers are close to expectations. I will watch the Q2 results and management commentary on October 8, particularly the demand outlook and margin trajectory. Stance: Results and guidance should determine the next directional move rather than revenue growth alone.
