Transrail Lighting order intake reaches ₹2,021 crore

Transrail Lighting Limited has secured new orders worth ₹412 crore, taking its order intake for the year to ₹2,021 crore. The company also has ₹409 crore of L1 orders. The latest contracts are for domestic transmission-line reconductoring projects using HTLS conductors. The order wins come after another ₹574 crore of orders announced on September 30, showing continued activity in the transmission and power-infrastructure segment. My view is that the more important point is the consistency of order additions rather than the size of one contract. The next factor to track is execution. Revenue conversion, working-capital requirements and project margins will determine how much of this order growth reaches earnings. I will watch the pace of further order inflow and execution of the existing ₹2,021 crore order intake. Stance: Positive on order visibility, with execution remaining the key trigger.
