PURAVANKARA SURGE OVER 12% AFTER STRONG FY26 PERFORMANCE

PURVA
Puravankara Ltd.’s share price surged more than 12 percent in intraday trading on the BSE on Friday, September 4, a day after the real estate developer released its annual report for financial year 2025-26. The stock gained sharply as investors reacted positively to the company’s improved financial performance and operational progress during the year. Puravankara shares jumped in Friday’s session after the company released its FY26 annual report after market hours on Thursday, September 3. The company said FY26 marked a strong year, with sales value reaching the highest level in its history. It also returned to sustained profitability, accelerated project handovers and continued to expand its land bank and project pipeline across South and West India. Puravankara reported a consolidated profit after tax of ₹56.75 crore, compared with a loss of ₹182.92 crore in FY25. Consolidated total income rose 84 percent year-on-year, primarily supported by the handover of 3,742 units. The company’s EBITDA margin also improved significantly to 17.22 percent in FY26 from 5.25 percent a year earlier. Puravankara attributed the improvement to greater scale, the completion of higher-value projects and better operating leverage. As of March 31, 2026, the company had 1,821 units, representing 2.53 million square feet (msft), for which occupancy certificates had been obtained but handovers were still pending. The delay was primarily due to the pending issuance of e-Khata in Bengaluru.
