Bank of Maharashtra Builds Momentum for Next Move
Bank of Maharashtra closed at ₹84.88, gaining 3.03% in the latest session. The stock is showing improving momentum after consolidating in the ₹80–₹88 zone.
The price is currently trading above the 10 EMA at ₹83.12, 20 EMA at ₹82.90, 50 EMA at ₹82.33 and 100 SMA at ₹82.51, indicating that the stock is holding above important short- and medium-term averages.
The broader trend also remains constructive, with the 200 SMA placed at ₹74.35.
RSI stands at 56.21, showing positive momentum without entering the overbought zone. MACD is marginally positive, with the MACD line at 0.31 versus the signal line at 0.29.
The key resistance zone is ₹88–₹90. A decisive breakout above ₹90 could strengthen the setup and bring ₹94–₹96 into focus.
On the downside, ₹82–₹83 remains an important support zone. Sustaining above this area would keep the current positive structure intact, while a break below ₹82 could increase selling pressure.
My view: Bank of Maharashtra is building momentum after a period of consolidation. ₹90 remains the key level to watch for the next directional move.
