☕ Morning Market Outlook – 29th Aug 2025

Domestic Highlights Thursday’s monthly expiry saw sharp selling—Nifty 50 fell 211 points, Sensex 706 points. Weak sentiment came after the US imposed 50% tariffs on Indian exports, raising trade and earnings worries. FIIs sold ₹3,856 crore, while DIIs bought ₹6,920 crore, cushioning the fall. Technically, Nifty faces resistance at 24,540–24,700 and support at 24,468–24,400. Gift Nifty hints at a positive open near 24,668. Industrial Production India’s IIP rose 3.5% in July, fastest in four months. Manufacturing grew 5.4% led by durables and capital goods. Electricity was up 0.6%, while mining fell 7.2%. Infra and construction goods jumped 12%, signaling robust capex and urban demand despite weak external trade. Global Cues US markets ended higher—S&P 500 +0.3% (new record), Nasdaq +0.5%, Dow +0.2%. Optimism stems from a likely Fed rate cut in September; odds of a 25-bps cut stand above 80%. Focus shifts to July PCE inflation, expected at 2.6%. Stocks in News
