Titan Acquires 67% Stake in Damas Jewellery (July 2025)
. announced its acquisition of a 67% stake in Damas Jewellery LLC for ₹2,438 crore (AED 1.038 billion) through its Dubai arm, Titan Holdings International FZCO. The move boosts Titan’s presence in the GCC market, leveraging Damas’s 146-store network alongside Tanishq’s 13 stores.
The acquisition aligns with Titan’s global growth strategy, aiming to tap into affluent Middle Eastern customers. Damas, with FY24 revenues of AED 1.461 billion (~₹3,450 crore), offers synergies in retail, sourcing, and branding. Titan will fund the deal via internal accruals and debt, with closing expected by January 31, 2026. Titan also holds an option to buy the remaining 33% after 2029.
Market Response & Technicals:
Post-deal news, Titan’s stock rebounded from the ₹3,350 support, breaking a 9-day high, and is now trading at ₹3,480, up 1.4%. The RSI, recovering from 32 to 50, signals positive momentum. Key resistance lies at ₹3,580, with potential to fill the ₹3,700 price gap. Failure to sustain could see supports at ₹3,350 and ₹3,200.
