$JIOFIN Mid to Long-Term Investment View

$JIOFIN , a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, aims to become a key player in India’s fast-growing financial ecosystem by offering lending, insurance, and digital payment solutions. Leveraging Reliance’s strong brand, customer base, and technological infrastructure, the company is well-positioned for long-term expansion. Fundamentally, it reported around 47% YoY revenue growth in the latest quarter with profit near ₹325 crore, reflecting early-stage profitability as it continues investing in business expansion. The balance sheet remains strong and virtually debt-free, providing stability and scope for future growth. However, the stock trades at a high P/E ratio of over 120 with low ROE near 1.5%, showing that valuations are rich compared to current earnings. Technically, the stock remains in a broad uptrend, holding above the 200-day moving average (~₹279), which indicates long-term strength, while it consolidates around the 50-day average (~₹315). The RSI near 55 reflects neutral-to-positive momentum, suggesting potential accumulation at current levels. Given its strong parent backing, digital edge, and expansion in consumer finance and insurance, Jio Financial holds solid long-term potential. Investors may consider entry around ₹309 with a target of ₹360–380 . keeping a stop-loss near ₹270, as the company transitions from setup to sustainable profitability.
