Blue Dart Express falls to fresh 52-week low

BLUEDART
Blue Dart Express Limited fell 2.49% to close at Rs 4,510 on October 1, 2026, touching a fresh 52-week low the same day. The stock slipped along with a broader weak market, the Sensex was down about 1.05% on the day, but Blue Dart underperformed its own sector by roughly 1.33%. There was no single company-specific trigger. It reflects broad market weakness plus a weak technical setup and underlying growth concerns: the stock trades below all its major moving averages (5, 20, 50, 100 and 200-day), and operating profit has grown just 0.42% annually over five years despite an 18.3% return on capital employed. Fluctuating fuel costs and shifting logistics demand are ongoing pressures on the sector too. A stock making a fresh 52-week low on weak technicals and a muted multi-year profit growth trend, rather than one specific piece of bad news, is usually a sign that the market is repricing the business's growth outlook rather than reacting to an event. That kind of move tends to take longer to reverse than a news-driven dip. On the chart, Rs 4,460 to 4,510, the current zone, is now the support to watch, since a break below would open fresh lows. Rs 4,900 to 5,000, last month's trading zone, is the first resistance on any bounce. The thing to track next is whether the stock stabilises around this zone or continues sliding, along with any commentary from the company on margins and fuel cost pressure in its next results.
