Tata Steel Ltd a $340 million infusion its Singapore company

TATASTEEL
On 1 October 2026, the NCLT Mumbai Bench approved and sanctioned the amalgamation of Tata Steel with its wholly owned subsidiary Rujuvalika Investments Ltd, effective from the appointed date of 1 April 2023. Rujuvalika is a dormant NBFC with no active operations; the merger will: Cancel all shares held by Tata Steel in Rujuvalika (no new shares or cash payment). Transfer all assets, liabilities and obligations of Rujuvalika to Tata Steel. On 29 September 2026, Tata Steel subscribed to 393.52 crore equity shares of its Singapore-based wholly owned subsidiary T Steel Holdings Pte Ltd (TSHP) for $340 million (₹3,260 crore). This is part of a board-approved plan to infuse up to $2 billion into TSHP, raising the aggregate investment limit to $26.21 billion. The move is aimed at strengthening the capital base of the international holding entity and giving the group flexibility for global expansion.
