Nifty Outlook for 09-Oct-2026 Looks Bearish
Nifty concluded the October 8 session on a deeply bearish note, plummeting 1.64% (371.25 points) to settle at 22,231.80 after hitting a fresh 52-week low of 22,179.90. Technical structures point to a strongly bearish bias heading into tomorrow, October 9, 2026. Aggressive foreign institutional investor (FII) outflows, an unexpected hawkish policy tightening from the RBI.
The Daily MACD and Hourly MACD below zero indicates selling pressure and bearish sentiment. The Daily RSI 14 below 30 and Hourly RSI 14 also below 30 indicates a increase in momentum of bearish trend. Thus the overall trend of Nifty looks bearish, and the sellers are in control over the markets.
Sell on rise would be the best strategy to deploy for today’s market considering the overall trend of Nifty.
We may expect a change in trend only if the price sustains above the resistance level. Can Initiate buying only if prices continue to sustain above the resistance level.
