Sensex Outlook for 09-Oct-2026 Looks Bearish
Sensex is highly bearish following a major structural sell-off. After plunging 1,045.46 points to settle at 71,593.24 on Thursday, the index is trading below major moving averages, signalling sustained downward momentum.
The Daily MACD Histogram is below zero and Hourly MACD Histogram is also below zero indicating a bearish trend. The Daily RSI 14 is at 30.11 and Hourly RSI 14 is also at 30.99 are indicating a bearish trend and has enough headroom as it has not yet entered the oversold zone. Thus the overall trend of Sensex looks bearish, and the sellers are in control over the markets.
Sell on rise would be the best strategy to deploy for today’s market considering the overall trend of Sensex.
We may expect a change in trend only if the price sustains above the resistance level. Can Initiate buying only if prices continue to sustain above the resistance level.
