Karur Vysya Bank Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) is an Indian banking company. The bank offers a wide range of banking and financial services, including commercial banking and treasury functions. Its segments include treasury, corporate and wholesale banking, retail banking and other banking operations. The Treasury segment includes, among other things, investments in state and government securities, debt instruments of banks, insurance companies, payment entities and companies, certificates of deposit, investment funds and securities and receipts. The Corporate and Wholesale Banking Segment includes all advances to trusts, partnerships, corporations and legal entities. The retail banking segment includes money lending and other banking services for all legal entities, including small business customers. Other banking activities segment includes para-banking activities such as bancassurance activities, distribution of third party products, demat services and other banking transactions.
