Morning Star is a bullish reversal candlestick pattern

KOTAKBANK
The Morning Star is a bullish reversal candlestick pattern that generally appears after a sustained downtrend and indicates that selling pressure may be weakening and buyers could start taking control. It is a three-candle pattern. The first candle is a large bearish candle, showing strong selling pressure. The second candle is a small-bodied candle—which can be bullish, bearish, or a Doji—indicating indecision and a loss of momentum among sellers. The third candle is a strong bullish candle that closes well into the body of the first bearish candle, preferably above its midpoint. This third candle provides confirmation that buyers are gaining strength and a potential trend reversal may be developing. The pattern becomes more reliable when it forms near an important support zone, trendline support, previous swing low, or oversold area, especially when accompanied by higher trading volume. Traders generally look for confirmation through the next candle or a breakout above the Morning Star's high. A move below the pattern's low can invalidate the bullish reversal setup. Overall, the Morning Star suggests a possible shift from bearish sentiment to bullish sentiment, but it should ideally be confirmed with price action, volume, and other technical indicators rather than used in isolation.

A bearish candlestick formation near a trendline resistance

BHARTIARTL
A bearish candlestick formation near a trendline resistance zone indicates that the price is facing selling pressure after reaching an important resistance area. When a bearish candle such as a Bearish Engulfing, Shooting Star, or Evening Star forms around the trendline, it suggests that buyers are struggling to push the price higher and sellers may be gaining control. If the next few candles confirm the rejection by breaking below the bearish candle’s low or the nearby support level, the probability of a downside move or trend reversal can increase. However, if the price sustains above the trendline resistance and gives a strong breakout with volume, the bearish setup may become invalid. Therefore, traders should watch the trendline, bearish candle low, volume, and immediate support zone for confirmation before considering the setup.

The Evening Star pattern is a bearish candlestick

MARUTI
The Evening Star pattern is a bearish candlestick reversal pattern that generally appears after an uptrend and indicates that buying momentum may be weakening. It consists of three candles: a strong bullish candle, followed by a small-bodied candle showing indecision, and then a strong bearish candle that closes well into the first candle’s body. The pattern becomes more reliable when the third candle confirms the reversal with higher volume or a break below nearby support. Traders generally watch the low of the third candle or the pattern’s support zone for confirmation of further downside. chart is attached for your reference, kindly go through with chart for the study of candlestick pattern.

bluestar wait for the retracement to invest further

BLUESTARCO
Reference price: ₹1,575 (28 September 2026 closing) 52-week range: ₹1,432–₹2,033 Market cap: ~₹32,289 crore P/E: ~61x ROE: ~17.2% | ROCE: ~21.2% 1. Price Action & Technical Structure Blue Star has seen a meaningful correction from its 52-week high of around ₹2,033. The recent price action, however, shows some recovery from the ₹1,430–₹1,450 zone. Recent sessions have been volatile: 15 Sep: Close ₹1,486.80 17 Sep: ₹1,540.60 19/21 Sep zone: around ₹1,560–₹1,565 25 Sep: ₹1,570 28 Sep: ₹1,575 This indicates that ₹1,500–₹1,520 is an important near-term demand/support zone, while ₹1,570–₹1,600 is an important supply area. A technical-data source had earlier placed the immediate resistance zone around ₹1,574 and supports around ₹1,511 and ₹1,497. 2. Important Technical Levels Immediate resistance: ₹1,590–₹1,600 Next resistance: ₹1,650–₹1,680 Major resistance: ₹1,700–₹1,720 Immediate support: ₹1,540–₹1,520 Major support: ₹1,500–₹1,480 Strong support: ₹1,430–₹1,450 From a chart-reading perspective, a sustained move above ₹1,600 with strong volume would improve the short-term structure, whereas failure around ₹1,600 followed by a break below ₹1,500 could again bring selling pressure. 3. Fundamental Picture Blue Star remains a major player in India's air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration industry. Its FY26 revenue from operations was ₹12,401.99 crore, up 3.6%, while operating profit increased 6.2% to ₹930.41 crore. The company ended FY26 with a record carried-forward order book of ₹6,923 crore. The order book is an important positive factor because it provides revenue visibility across the company's project businesses. However, the latest Q1 FY27 numbers require some caution. Revenue increased 13.3% YoY to ₹3,377.92 crore, but consolidated PAT declined 15.2% to ₹102.51 crore. EBITDA/operating margin also declined to approximately 5.2% from 6.7% in the year-ago quarter.

AC, TV & Appliances Set for Price Hikes From October

Consumer electronics and appliance prices in India are set to rise ahead of the festive season, with manufacturers planning another round of price increases from October 1. Industry executives cited by PTI said air-conditioner prices could increase by around 5–8%, while some companies are also raising prices of washing machines, refrigerators and LED TVs by around 3–4%. The latest revision is being attributed to higher input costs, particularly copper, aluminium and steel, along with costlier crude derivatives, freight expenses and currency volatility. This is expected to be the industry’s third price hike in 2026.

BLUESTARCO
has already indicated a 5–8% increase in prices of air-conditioners and deep freezers. Companies including Blue Star, Godrej Appliances, Haier, Daikin and Super Plastronics have announced or confirmed price increases across various categories, while Panasonic was still evaluating the situation. For the consumer durables sector, the timing is important as the October–Diwali period is one of the key shopping seasons. However, dealers holding inventory purchased at older prices could delay the full impact of the increases reaching consumers. The development is relevant for companies operating across consumer durables and electrical appliances, including Voltas , Blue Star, Havells and Whirlpool. Investors may track how individual companies manage input-cost pressures, pricing, margins and festive-season demand. Disclosure: I do not hold any position or financial interest in the mentioned stock.

For Blue Star (BLUESTARCO), the latest completed session

BLUESTARCO
For Blue Star (BLUESTARCO), the latest completed session was 25 Sep 2026: Close: ₹1,570 Day: +2.95% High/Low: ₹1,570 / ₹1,505 Volume: ~6.48 lakh shares on NSE/BSE data 20-DMA: ₹1,506 50-DMA: ₹1,554 RSI: ~55.5 MACD: positive mint +1 The interesting part is that price closed right around the day's high and above the 50-DMA, after bouncing from the recent ₹1,432 low. That's constructive short-term price action, but the stock is approaching the ₹1,578–₹1,600 resistance area. Moneycontrol +1 For Monday Breakout trigger: ₹1,580–1,585 First upside zone: ₹1,620–1,640 Invalidation: roughly below ₹1,540–1,550 Best confirmation: breakout accompanied by clearly higher volume. I would not chase it blindly above ₹1,600; a breakout followed by a retest/hold is technically cleaner. Also note: Blue Star's 52-week range is ₹1,432–₹2,032, so despite Friday's strength, it remains well below its prior yearly high.
